QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK DAY TOUR

This day tour begins in Fort Portal at 6:00am, where your guide from Akiiki G Safaris will pick you up from your hotel. From Fort Portal, we will drive 90km to the Equator, where we will enjoy a photo shoot. Next, we will drive a short distance to the Queen Elizabeth park entrance where we will get a good view of Lake George, Kikorongo, and a panoramic view of the park, including where we will be spending the day tracking the "Big Four" (lions, elephants, leopards, and round-horned buffaloes).

There, we will pay the park entrance fees and begin our game drive around 8:00AM. After approximately 2 hours, we will reach Kasenyi where we will have breakfast and you will have the opportunity to purchase crafts. The drive lasts approximately 4 to 5 hours, during that time we will see different wildlife and the beautiful environment of Queen Elizabeth National Park. After the game drive, we will drive 21km to Kazinga Channel. There, we will have lunch near Mweya Safari Lodge, and wait for the boat which departs at 3:00PM. The boat cruise lasts approximately 2 hours and covers 41km, ending at 5PM. At 5:00PM, we begin our drive back to Fort Portal, arriving at your hotel around 8:00PM. (Approximate trip length: ~14 hours).
